In the Casamia eco-reserve on the Cổ Cò river, where more than 60% of the land is given to trees and water — and the river breeze does the rest.
Casamia is Hội An’s riverside eco-reserve, next door to the Bảy Mẫu coconut forest. Villa SL1.3 sits inside it — ten minutes from the Old Town, five from An Bàng beach — and it’s one of our guests’ favourite places to stay.
The 400m² villa has four bedrooms for up to eight guests, and all four bathrooms have bathtubs.
Outside, a curving private pool about eight metres long runs under coconut palms, with timber furniture on the deck. Inside, the living room opens on to it through floor-to-ceiling glass, with a low tea table on a woven mat.
Four bedrooms, four bathtubs, one river breeze.
The style is Zen: low platform beds, timber lattice ceilings, sliding wooden screens and soft light. Bedrooms open on to balconies over the greenery, and there’s an upright piano under a round lacquer artwork in the hall.
Guests also get the residents’ gym, an open fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and a workspace, a green garden and parking.
