White gables, arched terraces and a 12-metre pool, with green paddies on every side — the whole villa reserved for one group of up to 30.
At 163 Nguyễn Trãi, about ten minutes by bike from the Old Town, Maison de Chinh stands on its own among the rice fields. It’s a boutique villa of ten individually designed rooms, a spacious garden and a big private pool — and it’s let to one group at a time.
With ten bedrooms it sleeps up to 30 guests, which makes it one of our favourite houses for weddings, reunions and company trips.
The ground floor opens to the pool through white arches: a long wooden dining table under the terrace, loungers along the water, and an open kitchen for the group. Upstairs, vine-draped walkways look straight out over the paddies.
Ten rooms, each with a story — and a window full of green.
No two rooms are alike. There are doubles with one or two rice-field views, a pool-view double, two pink-walled doubles, family rooms, a family attic under timber rafters, and studios with their own kitchenette and living area. Olive-green and terracotta walls, warm wood and big windows run through them all, and many have bathtubs.
Breakfast is included every morning. There’s also a BBQ area in the garden, a work room and Wi-Fi, bicycles for guests and parking.
