On Hùng Vương street in Thanh Hà, a 430m² villa made for the whole group — and for long evenings by the pool with the paddies all around.
Gateway Inn sits among the rice paddies on the edge of Hội An, a few minutes’ walk from the Thanh Hà pottery village and about two kilometres from the Old Town. Close enough to cycle in for dinner, far enough that the evenings are quiet.
It was set up for the big trip — the family holiday, the friends’ reunion, the company getaway. Six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, sleep up to 16 guests, so nobody draws the short straw.
The private pool is 50m², 1 to 1.6 metres deep, with a separate 0.8-metre pool for the kids. Umbrellas and loungers line the terracotta deck, and the garden wraps around it in green.
When the sun goes down, the lights come on in the trees. There’s the jacuzzi, a garden table under the lanterns, and the rice fields just beyond the wall.
Six bedrooms, six bathrooms, one long table.
The private kitchen opens onto a dining table long enough for the whole group, under rattan pendants and patterned cement tiles. For the evenings there’s a BBQ grill outside.
Inside, the living spaces are bright and easy: teal sofas, mustard bean bags, Netflix on the wall. Bedrooms have their own sofa corners and balconies, and every one has its own bathroom.
Practical things are covered too: washer and dryer, two bathtubs, car parking, and free bicycles for the pottery village or the ride into town. Add e-bikes to go further — out through the paddies to the Old Town or the beach, and back in time for a sunset swim.
